Raymond Deng performs a one-take cover of John Legend's 'All of Me,' dedicating the romantic ballad to his darling as a birthday tribute. The episode presents the song's complete lyrics, from 'what would I do without your smart mouth' to the final repeated 'give me all of you,' capturing every verse about loving curves, edges, and perfect imperfections. Deng's vocal delivery carries the emotional weight, with the backing track and a simple 'we're going' cue marking the start. The description notes the piece was 'worked many times' but this take is 'credited to Ren,' pointing to the recording's single-pass authenticity. The performance emphasizes the song's promise of reciprocal devotion—'give your all to me, I give my all to you'—making the birthday dedication both personal and universal.
To my darling. Happy birthday. Have worked many times. One take credited to Ren.
